With the continuous progress of modern industry, many solid wastes have also caused a lot of pollution to the soil, and the soil has gradually become a place of "concealing evil". Many people don't pay attention to these things. They always think that the soil will digest itself without harming us, but this is not the case. therefore Activated carbon The adsorption performance can help us solve some pollution to a large extent.

Some minor pollutants can be reduced by the self purification capacity of the soil and the decomposition of microorganisms. But most crops, groundwater and surface water sources will be polluted by pollutants in the soil, and will harm people again through the food chain. At this time, targeted measures need to be taken, such as soil remediation.

At present, there are three commonly used remediation technologies for contaminated soil, all of which need to be used Activated carbon As adsorbent. Different activated carbon shall be selected for targeted adsorption according to different pollutants.

1、 Washing method

The contaminated soil is excavated and graded by washing, screening, gravity separation and liquid rotation separation. By separating the contaminated soil into a single particle size distribution, the pollutants are concentrated into smaller soil, and then the soil and liquid are separated by a dehydrator. The pollutants transferred to the liquid phase are adsorbed by activated carbon.

2、 Heat treatment

The polluted soil is heated by a rotary furnace to transfer the pollutants into the gas phase, and the polluted gas is condensed to obtain the sewage concentrated solution, which is then subject to coagulation sedimentation, filtration, and activated carbon adsorption.

3、 Steam method

Heat the polluted soil with high temperature steam, take the pollutants away from the soil, and then cool it to obtain sewage wastewater, which is subject to coagulation sedimentation, filtration and activated carbon adsorption.
